Menthya Pudi
Ramesh's 40-Year Secret to Gut Health.
Health & everyday wellness
- Fenugreek (menthya) has long been valued in Indian kitchens alongside fibre-rich lentils in spice mixes.
- Often stirred into plain rice with ghee for a simple, satisfying side that settles the stomach for many people.
Routine, easy-to-digest meals support everyday resilience — especially when they replace heavily processed instant options.
Without chemicals
We do not mask weak ingredients with chemical enhancers; fenugreek’s slight bitterness is part of an honest, traditional profile.
Step-by-step in your kitchen
Step 1
Heat rice
Use freshly cooked hot rice — basmati or sona masuri both work.
Step 2
Add ghee
Mix in a generous spoon of ghee while the rice is still steaming so it absorbs aroma.
Step 3
Fold in menthya pudi
Sprinkle Ojas Menthya Pudi to taste; start with less — you can always add more.
Step 4
Optional temper
For extra flair, top with mustard, curry leaves, and broken cashew fried in ghee.
Step 5
Serve
Enjoy with papad, pickle, or curd. Also lovely sprinkled on warm chapati with a brush of ghee.
